Edgar has over 17 years of experience in television and film production. He graduated from Escuela Activa de Fotografia in 1992, that same year he began producing documentaries for different museums in Mexico. After four years he joined TV Azteca as a senior producer where he directed several campaigns in branding and marketing of channel 13. Then he became postproducer of news programs such as “Hechos”, “Ciudad Desnuda”, “Sin restricciones”. In 1999 Edgar moved to Cancun where he produced TV Shows like “Cineando” and “Enfoque Deportivo”. He has gained broad experience in the production and postproduction of different reality shows, working in Televisa joined the team of “Big Brother Mexico”, “Codigo Fama”, “Operacion Triunfo”, “Ay Amor”. He was the director of postproduction in the reality show “Fear Factor Mexico” for Endemol.

In 2004 he moved to Miami where he edited and postproduced Top Rank PPV Shows “Morales VS Barrera” and “Morales VS Paquiao”. That same year he was the director of photography in the film “Malcha Movis”.

He was one of the founders of Spiral Media, where he has made several collaborations for Al Gore’s TV channel Current TV, with short documentaries such as “Journey to Life”, “Earthrace”, “Deathbot Deathmatch”, Baby Catching Pro”, “Don’t Hinder my Gender”, “Freedom in the darkness”, “This is not a table dance”, ” Bioterrorism”, “Cuban Exile” among others.

He produced with Raquel de Antonio the short documentary “A Nature’s Choice” which is running in several film festivals around the world. Since he founded Spiral Media he has produced over 200 videos for different brands.
