Raquel de Antonio graduated with a BS in Communication Arts from Tec de Monterrey in Mexico City in 1997. Her experience began with different works in film in Kitch Productions assisting in production of music videos like “Cafe Tacuba’s, Chilanga Banda, (Award Winner for Best Latin American Music Video of the MTV Video Music Awards 1997). That same year she wrote and directed the short film “Mundo Dormido” while she was working in Telehit, Televisa’s Music Video Channel creating promos in the channel advertising campaign, she also produced the television show “El Taller”.
In 1998 she founded Enboga Studio where she worked as Creative Director developing a wide range of print marketing materials that include corporate image, brochures, catalogs, package design, point of purchase, logos and internal branding for clients such as Eli Lilly, Fuller Cosmetics, Chrysler, Sharp Electronics, Santillan Arquitects and others. Also produced different documentaries such as History of Music Video in Mexico and corporate and training videos for Mecca Cadbury Adams.
In 2003 she wrote and directed the short film “Por el Stereo”.
By 2004 she moved to Miami where she worked as the Art Director in the film Malcha Movis. Founded Spiral Media where she produced and directed several short documentaries for Current TV (Al Gore TV Channel) such as “Journey to Life”, “This is not a Table dance”, “Baby Catching Pro”, Deathbot Deathmatch”, Dont’ Hinder my Gender’, Earthrace”, “Bioterrorism” and the short documentary “A Nature’s Choice” which is running through several film festivals around the world. Actually she is directing her first feature documentary.
